After you land, turn in Meet Lieutenant Icehammer... Pick up Drop It then Rock It! Head north into Baleheim to (64,39) and use your [Alliance Banner] next to the camp fire and defeat the enemies that arrive. Turn this quest back in at (64,46) and take Harpoon Master Yavus.

Head south into Nifflevar to the large building at (65,67). Upstairs, kill Harpoon Master Yavus. Now use your [Incense Burner] to enter the spirit world, head outside to the large crowd and King Ymiron at (69,54) and watch the event to complete Anguish of Nifflevar. Head back to the Alliance camp at (64,46) and turn in Harpoon Master Yavus and pick up It Goes to 11...

Head south back into Nifflevar to (64,52) and use the [Harpoon Control Mechanism ] to control a Vyrkul Harpoon Gun. Once in control of the gun, use (1) Fiery Harpoon to hit the structures below. When aiming, aim for the rooftop of the buildings. When you land a hit and destroy a structure, Dragonflayer Defenders will be dispatched to you. Use (2) Fiery Lance to destroy them.

Turn the quest back in at (64,46) and take Let's Go Surfing Now. Head south to Nifflevar and at (65,57), outdoors behind one of the large buildings, you will find a Large Harpoon Lever. Use this Lever to "surf" back to Valgarde.

Turn in Anguish of Nifflevar and Let's Go Surfing Now. In Valgarde at (60,61) you'll find McGoyver, a gnome fixing a plane on the shore. Speak with him and he'll fly you to the Explorer's League Outpost.
