Turn in Prisoners of Wyrmskull, Guided by Honor (scripted event occurs when this is turned in), Into the World of Spirits, Return to Valgarde and The Path to Payback. Pick up all available new quests: Dragonflayer Battle Plans, Locating the Mechanisms, The Echo of Ymiron and The Explorers' League Outpost. Then head northwest of Valgarde to Scout Valory at (55,55) and pick up Fresh Legs.

Head north to the cave at (55,52) and loot the [Dragonflayer Battle Plans] for Dragonflayer Battle Plans. Head to the northeast building at (60,51) and kill Dragonflayer Harpooner's until one drops a [Harpoon Control Mechanism] for Locating the Mechanisms. Head north of the building to (60,49) and you will find a ramp that leads to the Defender Mordun to turn in Fresh Legs. You can take the followup quests Into Utgarde! and Disarmament if you plan on doing the Utgarde Keep instance.

Now go back to the northeast building at (60,51). Be sure to stand outside of the building and use the [Incense Burner]. Walk into the building and watch the event unfold to complete The Echo of Ymiron.

If you're in no rush to get to 80 and have a few minutes to spare, stay inside the spirit world. You will die, but you will see an event worth watching. Head back outside the building and go right and speak with The Lich King. You can repeat this one more time for a different dialogue, the graveyard is very close by so it takes only an extra minute. You can't view this event after completing the The Echo of Ymiron

When you're done, head back to Valgarde and turn in the 3 quests, take the new quests: To Westguard Keep!, Anguish of Nifflevar and Meet Lieutenant Icehammer... Speak to Gaurd Captain Zorek again after you accept Meet Lieutenant Icehammer... and you will be flown automatically to Nifflevar.
