After you land in Westguard Keep, pick up the flightpoint from Greer Oremaster at (31,43). Head into the Westguard Keep, and upstairs turn in To Westguard Keep! and News From the East. Pick up The Clutches of Evil. Head back outside to Westguard Inn at (30,41) and on the first floor in the back, pick up and turn in the quest Shoveltusk Soup Again. Before you leave the Inn bind your [Hearthstone] to Westguard Inn.

There is also the daily quest Break the Blockade at (28,41) from Bombardier Petrov. I typically skip this quest because it can take close to 10 minutes to complete. If you decide to do this quest, aim your [Petrov's Cluster Bombs] directly on top of Blockade Cannons to destroy them or you may find yourself not completing the objective in one pass.

Head outside of Westguard Keep now to the east and pick up One Size Does Not Fit All from Cannoneer Ely at (33,43). Head east towards (40,40) and loot [Westguard Cannonball] until you complete the quest. When you're done, head southwest to Ember Clutch (41,49).

While killing Proto-Drake Eggs and Proto-Whelps, keep an eye out for Ember Clutch Ancient to pick up the quest Root Causes. Complete the quests The Clutches of Evil and Root Causes. Make your way down to the house in (41,52) to find Skeld Drakeson for Root Causes. Turn in Root Causes at (36,48) in the Ember Clutch. Now head northwest to (32,46) and pick up Orfus of Kamagua from Lunk-tusk.

Head north back to Westguard Keep and turn in The Clutches of Evil and take Mage-Lieutenant Malister. Turn this in and take Two Wrongs... Head back outside to the east of Westguard Keep at (33,43) and turn in One Size Does Not Fit All.

Now head southeast back to Ember Clutch and use your [Malister's Frost Wand] to engage and kill 3 Proto-Drakes flying in the sky. Ride back to Westguard Keep and turn in the quest and take Report to Scout Knowles. Outside the Keep to the west at (29,41) pick up Danger! Explosives! then northeast in town at (31,41) pick up Send Them Packing!
